Safe Company Certification

Become SAFE Certified

SAFE (Safety Accord Forestry Enterprise) certification is a pre-qualification safety initiative required to bid on forestry work in British Columbia. SAFE company certification ensures that a minimum standard of safety is maintained to promote reliability, predictability, and efficiency. Having a proper safety system in place reduces incidents and injuries, while improving company quality and competitiveness.

How We Achieve SAFE Company Certification for Your Business

Step 1

I will ask you about your business, what you do, how many employees you have and so on.

Step 2

Together, we build a safety program tailored to your needs.

Step 3

I help you understand how to apply the safety program and how to use the forms.

Step 4

I visit your worksite and go through the required forms with workers and supervisors.

Step 5

I show your staff how to run an effective safety meeting.

Step 6

I show you how to foster a great attitude to safety among staff.

Completing the Process

When the documentation is complete we work together to complete the Certification Safety Audit to send to the Forest Safety Council. Once that is reviewed, it is given a score by the Council and you are issued a Safe Certification number and certificate.
