Sapp Logging Ltd.
Kennedy Forest & Safety’s First Client
Gene and Lorna Sapp own Sapp Logging Ltd. and have been logging for over 20 years. Kennedy Forest & Safety Consultant along with Gene and Lorna Sapp, developed and implemented a Safety program that worked for their company. Craig visited Sapp Logging’s site once a month to conduct safety meetings, site and hazard inspections and then took the company through to SAFE CERTIFICATION status.
” Craig was instrumental in helping us achieve our “SAFE CERTIFIED” company. I was overwhelmed with the whole thing. Craig has a way of making it interesting and has a personality that engages the workers on our site. He has helped us to instil a positive attitude about safety. The workers and I look forward to him showing up on site. They always have something to contribute in the meetings.”
Canim Lake Band, Natural Resource Department
Canim Lake Band is a First Nations community near 100 Mile House, British Columbia. Craig created a new Health and Safety Plan for their Natural Resource Department in March 2012.
” Our new Health and Safety Program works for us because it is a much simpler program and a lot less paper work than our previous Safety Program. Every employee in our office likes the smaller and more simple program.”

R & E Wallace Ltd.
Craig made my companies “SAFE CERTIFICATION” easy to understand and implement. My guys and I worked with Craig when he showed up on site to ensure we had a good solid functioning safety program. He has the ability to get everyone on board with the safety program and promotes a genuine positive attitude towards safety.
Dtech Forestry Services
Darren Taylor, owner of Dtech Forestry Services is a Forestry consulting company that primarily works for Major Licensee’s in the Williams Lake area. His company is usually himself and one other worker, a compassman and Timber Cruiser. Darren’s company although usually only a total count of two, still requires a safety program that falls within the requirements of a larger SEBASE company 6-19 employees.
“When I was required to be SAFE CERTIFIED” by the Licensee I was working for at the time, I wasn’t sure how to proceed. I took the two day safety course through the BC Forest Safety Council, was given a binder and was suppossed to build a safety program from it. I called Craig Kennedy, Kennedy Forest & Safety Consultants, and he set me up with a great safety program, easy to use and he helped me to implement it effectively.
I still don’t like doing the annual audits, so every year, I hand Craig my box of Safety meetings, site inspections etc, and have hime put the audit together and send it down to the council. Why would I do it when Craig offers that service. He also sends me updates for new forms or any documents that will simplify my daily safety requirements. Kennedy Forest & Safety Consultants are genuinly interested in seeing my company succeed. I would recommend Craig Kennedy to any new or existing company in the Safe Companies program.”
